This Refund and Returns Policy explains how IVFMedicine.in, operated by GITA Discounted Pharma, handles product returns, replacements and refunds for eligible orders placed through our platform.
1. Scope & General Policy
Due to the nature of pharmaceutical and health-related products, returns and refunds are strictly regulated to ensure product safety, quality and compliance with applicable laws.
This policy applies to orders placed on IVFMedicine.in for products supplied by GITA Discounted Pharma. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
In all cases, returns are accepted only where required conditions are met and after verification by our team.
2. Products Eligible for Return / Replacement
Subject to verification, a return or replacement may be considered only in the following situations:
- You received the wrong product (different from what was ordered).
- You received a product that is physically damaged or has significant leakage at the time of delivery.
- You received a product that is already expired at the time of delivery.
- There is a clear quantity mismatch compared to your order invoice.
In all such cases, clear photographs/videos of the product and outer packaging are required for assessment.
3. Products Not Eligible for Return
Important for medicine ordersIn line with public health and safety considerations, returns generally cannot be accepted in the following cases:
- Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed (including broken seals).
- Products with tampered packaging, missing labels, batch numbers or original packaging.
- Products stored by the customer in improper conditions (exposure to heat, moisture, etc.).
- Products that are temperature-sensitive or require cold-chain storage, unless they were delivered damaged or in compromised condition.
- Returns requested after the permissible time window (see section below).
We reserve the right to decline returns where the product safety cannot be verified or where accepting a return would violate regulatory or health guidelines.
4. Return Request Window & Process
If you believe your order qualifies for a return or replacement under this policy, you must inform us within 48 hours of delivery.
To initiate a request:

- Mention:
- Your Order ID and contact number
- Product name(s) and quantity
- Clear description of the issue (wrong item, damage, expired, etc.)
- Attach clear photos of the product, labels, batch number and packaging.
Our team will review the details and may contact you for additional information before approving or rejecting the request.
5. Inspection, Pickup & Approval
Once a return request is submitted:
- Our team will perform a preliminary review based on the information and images shared.
- If required, a product pickup may be arranged through our logistics partner.
- After physical inspection (where applicable), the return will be either approved or declined based on this policy.
Products must be kept safely in their original packaging until pickup; improper handling may affect eligibility.
6. Refund Method & Timelines
If your return is approved, the refund may be processed as follows:
- Refund to the original payment method, where operationally feasible; or
- Refund as store credit / voucher usable against future purchases.
Refund processing timelines typically range from 5–10 working days after confirmation, depending on your bank/payment provider.
Shipping charges and convenience fees, where applicable, may not be refundable unless the error is clearly attributable to us (wrong product, expired, or confirmed damage during transit).
7. Order Cancellation
You may request cancellation of an order before it is packed or dispatched. Once the order has been shipped, cancellation might not be possible, and the normal return policy (if applicable) will apply.

8. Replacement Instead of Refund
In several cases (e.g. wrong item, damaged in transit, expired product), we may first offer a replacement of the same product, subject to availability, instead of a monetary refund.
If a replacement is not feasible (e.g. product out of stock), a refund may be processed as per section 6 of this policy.
9. Special Notes for Prescription Medicines
Many products listed on IVFMedicine.in are prescription medicines. For such products:
- Any return must not violate applicable drug and pharmacy regulations.
- We may be unable to accept returns once the product has left our control and is not demonstrably damaged, incorrect or expired on delivery.
- Customers are requested to check the name, strength, and quantity at the time of delivery.
